The World according to a French Wine Producer & Exporter (FUN inside)

You have all seen these funny maps of The World according to Americans, Europe according to the Brits, etc. As I get a chance to travel the World to sell wines from the South of France, I had the idea of creating a map of the World according to a French Wine Producer & Exporter. Funny and educational I hope…

So, in a nutshell…

France

#1 Wine Country (in all modesty…)

Spain & Italy

Satellites…

Canada

Playing Monopoly (including Québec, French Wine Lovers)

USA

Three Tier System > means three times more problems!!!

China

“What’s your discount for 10 containers?”

Australia

“GSM” blends (nothing like Châteauneuf du Pape…)

New Zealand

Why do you pronounce Sauvignon BlanC???

Mexico

Not there yet… More into Coca Cola & Fajitas…

Brazil

Tax, Tax, Tax…

Argentina

Malbec (pale copy of Cahors)

Sweden & Finland

Playing Monopoly

Scotland

Whiskey…

England

Former Claret drinkers

Ireland

Beer

Russia

Vodkaland

Germany

Sweet white stuff

South Africa

Pinotage??? Never heard of that…

Sub-Saharan Africa

Sadly there are some more serious emergencies here…

Middle East

No Alcohol

India

Tax, Tax, Tax

Hong Kong & Singapore

Giant Wine Cellar for rich bankers

Thaïland

Tax, tax, Tax

Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia…

Buying lots of fake stuff from China

Japan

Real wine lovers and francophiles

Bonjour Marion
