Running for Galvin’s chance charity

Marion running for charityTwo days ago I runned for a charity the Mayfair Park and Tower Race. I was invited by one our customers, the fantastic restaurant Galvin at Windows. They created a few years ago Galvin’s Chance, a charity designed to help disadvantaged young people at risk from gun and knife crime by opening up opportunities for gaining sustainable jobs in the hospitality industry.

Therefore I ran the easy 4.5 kilometers in Hyde Park (in the pouring rain…), but the most difficult bit was the 475 stairs at the end to climb the 28 floors of the London Hilon Park Lane Hotel to arrive at Galvin at Windows….

We were welcomed with a glass of Champagne but even if I work in the wine trade, I have to say that a glass of champagne after jogging at 9am in th emorning was quite a schock to the system 🙁

Nice view at the top of the London Hilton Hotel Park Lane, 28th floor…
