bourgeon en débourrement

Vines are waking up again after their long winter sleep. It is really beautiful to see these buds slowly getting out of their cottony envelope to start a new life… CANON EOS 6D ISO 100 f/4.5 1/200 s Macro lens 100mm

ours de face

I took this photo (no crop) of a bear at the Shanghaï zoo on Monday. I wanted to go there to see the pandas but what I enjoyed the most is this cute bear that came to see us begging for some food. Canon EOS 6D f/5 1/250s 100mm iso 100

photo of VANCOUVER city

As every year I went to Vancouver, which is probably my favourite city in North Amerca together with San Francisco. The air is pure and the atmosphere relaxing. In Vancouver wildlife is everywhere…I just had in my bag my Canon EOS 6D + 50 mm lens + CPL polaroïd filter. No tripod.

photo d'une vigne qui pleure

Did you ever know that vines “cry”? Yes they do, after pruning, when the sap starts running again in the plant. I took this picture this morning after having waited for this very special moment to see the “tears” of la Gardine. Canon EOS 6D f/4 1/200 s 100 mm iso 100

Marion Barral at Golden Gate Bridge

San Francisco is with no doubt my favourite city in the US. It is a sunny city and you can reach anything by “human” distance: the beach, the mountains, the great parks… And it has this unique charm described by so many writers and singers…

Plantes à Frontignan Plage

Frontignan-plage is my favourite beach by the Mediteranean sea. Located 20 minutes west from Montpellier, it is much more quiet and wild than the overcrowded Palavas or La Grande Motte. It is also located next to the beautiful town of Sète, famous for its fish market, its local gastronomy and the singer Georges Brassens.

photo d'un vieux cep de grenache

I took once again advantage of the chance I have to work in a beautiful vineyard (château de la Gardine) this morning. I spent one hour taking some pictures, trying to capture the atmosphere. It was already very warm, even if it was only 9pm, and the cicadas were already singing, sound mixed with lots

Photo d'une cigale et d'une fourmi

I took this picture this morning arriving to work. I love this moment in the summer when the leaves are style fresh and humid, and lots of insects and animals hide there to get ready for a really hot day. Canon EOS 450D Lens: Macro 100mm with stabilizer Handheld F/9 1/200s iso 400
